SAD SAD NEWS to report. In October of 2013 we adopted Boris- renamed him to Boston. When we got him he was 2-1/2 almost 3, he was a special and unique Dogue De Bordeaux. He would not let anyone touch his face or ears. After spending some time with him I knew he would be a great fit for our family and great companion for our 7yr old female Bordeaux. Affter working with him for about a month, gaining his trust and showing him our love and loyalty, he became more comfortable. He would let us clean his ears , rub his head and pretty much play full force with him. Sadly on Sept 15th 2015 I hade to make the decision to put my 12yr old femal Bordeaux down due to a massive tumor that developed and causing her to bleed out. WELL not even a month later Boston had eaten his dinner but threw up right after, and was not himself. He came to bed with us and acted normal just sluggish; I woke up the next morning and he was acting normal. we did our normal routine wake up go outside then go to the restroom then come in and lay on the couch. At about 0815 he went to get off of the couch and as he was walking he fell straight straight forward into the TV stand, I rushed over to him as he was gasping for air we loaded him on a blanket and i thought my vet didnt open till 9 so i went to another animal hospital that i knew opened at 8am, but they told me they couldn't do anything cause they had to vet staff there. so I rushed to my vets office come to find out they open at 0730. they rushed him inside intubated him and started an IV but betime all this had happened he had no heart beat even after compressions and all the drugs they had given and we worked on him in the car as i was going to the hospital as well, a tottal of 40 min we worked on him but could not save him. I want to thank the Canine Rescue Coalition INC for the opportunity to save and give our baby boy an amazing life. They are an amazing group that works their tails/butts off to re-home amazing dogs that deserve nothing but the best. I lost my best friend Boston, and no puppy will ever replace his loving caring funny attribute that he gave us. But know that I and my wife will always be thankful for getting us in contact and connection with our baby.... Thank you again Carol, Karen, and Darlene for everything and I hope to be able to get another amazing Dogue de Bordeaux from you guys again soon. With much love from the Tucker Family

I have to say these people are a very busy group of people in all the good way's and for a great reason. I wanna give a special thank you to carol who took the time to come check out our house and to the CRC group we met with to meet Boston-aka "Boris" We could not have asked for a better mannered dog than him to join our family and other Mastiff Tatum. I went from meeting a dog that was unsure of me and not letting me touch his ears or anything to my boy who lets me clean his ears, plays ball and just loves life. I just wanna say thank you to you all for the time and giving us this amazing addition and hopefully pics will be up soon so you all can see what amazing dogs come from this organization!!!
Thank you all!!!!

Lost one of my best friends last night. Cancer went to his spine ... lost him at 2237. Amazing how some creatures wrap themselves around and into your life like they do.
So long Ozzy you will be missed thank you for being in my life.

We adopted Giavonna in May...right from the start she fit in...she is the. Most awesome, loving dog!
She adapted to life in a family of two young children, 2 cats and 2 boxer brothers immediately. I had two Great Danes and was so lost when we had to have them put to sleep...but Gia has stolen our hearts. Cannot say enough about the awesome people we met at the rescue and how great it is to have this amazing girl in our family.
We always recommend the rescue to all who ask because these dogs are great!

Seeking a female English Mastiff. I recently had to say "good-bye" to my rescue,Abbey Lane, 14 yr old English Mastiff. Yes-14 yr. old! I attribute her longevity to love, cat companions & grain-free dog food, as well as supplements. She was the love of my life & I miss her so. I adopted her from Animal House Shelter when she was 3. I was so very fortunate to have her in my life for 11 years. If you ask me, I think Mastiff's make the best pet! I will always share my life with a gentle giant.

Thank God for the people who save these gentle giants and then find caring/loving homes for them. I recently adopted Edgar and he is just amazingly lovable and enjoys his new adventures with his sister mastiff Lucy. He had a not so good life but I can assure you he is living the life of luxury since the day he walked in our front door. He is a blessing to our family.

I found this site via a google search and I am glad I did. We purchased an English Mastiff this past year in February. Samson. He is an AMAZING addition to our family. WE all love and adore him so much. He will be year old shortly and we were looking for a companioin for him, other then us. I have always liked Great Pyrenees' however, Samson was so easily trained I am thinking we need to look at adopting another Mastiff. We would like female so we don't have as many territorial "issues" as we would most likely encounter with two males. I will definitely be checking back here to see what comes available and hopefully adding another addition to our family this year. I recommend Mastiffs to everyone who asks me. What an awesome breed for a family.

We adopted our sweet boy Bruno last June from the CRC & we absolutely love & adore him! He's around 200lbs and gets a ton of attention everywhere he goes. He's a Momma's boy who follows me around everywhere. He is VERY protective of our family & keeps strangers at bay. We are SO lucky to have Bruno in our lives. He's great with cats, dogs, & kids. We cant imagine family life without him!
