Lindy and Linus were out of time.

On the final day of their lives at the Apple Valley shelter in California, weak with pneumonia and curled up together in the back of a cold kennel, these two gentle Mastiffs were just hours from being lost forever. But love stepped in. A rescue team saw past their sickness and sadness and gave them a second chance.

And now, Lindy and Linus are ready to start again.

After weeks of healing, comfort, and care, this beautiful bonded pair has blossomed into the affectionate, joyful souls they were always meant to be. They are deeply connected—where one goes, the other follows—and it’s clear they’ve spent their whole lives loving and protecting each other. That’s why they dream of finding a forever home together, though they could thrive in homes with another friendly dog if separated.

Lindy and Linus are both house-trained, incredibly well-mannered, and walk nicely on leash. They adore toys, sunshine, and slow strolls—just being by your side makes their tails wag. Despite everything they’ve endured, they are gentle, kind, and full of gratitude. They’re wonderful with other dogs, and best with kids over 5 simply due to their large size.

They’ve known loss, fear, and abandonment—but never let it harden their hearts. Now they’re ready to give someone everything they have: loyalty, comfort, companionship, and unconditional love.
